Assam: four dacoits arrested in Dibrugarh

In a joint operation Dibrugarh and Tinsukia police arrested four dacoits while they were coming by bus from Tinsukia to Dibrugarh after looting a person.

They looted Rs 3 Lacs from a retired police officer from Tinsukia at about 12.30 pm today.

They use to throw monkey crab ( bandor kekura) powder on their target person and snatch the money bag. They use different modus operandi to loot valuables from their target persons during busy hours in the market.

Police has recovered some cash, fake Pan cards, screw drivers, different tools, monkey crab powder etc from them.

The names are Anurag Singh, Ritesh Roy, Subham Das all from Cooch Bihar and Vishal Das of Patna. One managed to run away.
