Agartala

Tripura Chakma Students’ Association (TCSA) on Monday accused All Arunachal Pradesh Student Union (AAPSU) of their move against the admission of Chakma students of Tripura and Mizoram in Northeastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST).

Addressing media TCSA General Secretary Sadhan Chakma alleged that AAPSU has been creating such situation every year for the Chakma students and the job aspirants even after they selected in the entrance test for admission or public service commission for job.

This time it went beyond all limits. They not only preventing the admission of Chakma students also issued warning, which is completely communal and unconstitutional.

Unfortunately, NERIST administration and the state government did not take any action against such illegal move of AAPSU, he alleged.

it must be mention here that the  All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (Aapsu) has demanded that the Chakma and Hajong candidates who have reportedly been selected in the North East Regional Institute of Science & Technology (Nerist) Entrance Exam, 2018 be disqualified.

Aapsu demanded that the Chakma and Hajong candidates be replaced with “eligible tribal applicants belonging to Mizoram”.
