Nagaland Poll Violence: Candidate house torched

One more incident of violence reported in Nagaland. According to the report one house was reportedly torched at New Wokha Village last night.

According to official sources, the house reportedly belonging to a relative of a JD (U) election candidate was set on fire at around 8:30 pm by unknown persons.

The police said that Fire & Emergency Services personnel along with police were rushed to the spot of incident and the fire was brought under control but the house was completely destroyed and fortunately, no human casualty was reported.

Sources said that the identity of the perpetrators could not be established. However, no FIR was lodged in connection to the incident.
