Mizoram: CIJW School Celebrates 73rd Independence Day

In attendance of Veterans, Veer Naris, Children and other prominent civil dignitaries, the National Flag was unfurled by Maj Gen M K Mago, the Commandant of the CIJW School.

The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at the Indian Army’s Premier and world renowned Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School, while paying ardent tribute to all freedom fighters.

In attendance of Veterans, Veer Naris, Children and other prominent civil dignitaries, the National Flag was unfurled by Maj Gen M K Mago, the Commandant of the CIJW School.

The Commandant felicitated the Veer Naris in the function, which was followed by a conducted tour of ‘Know Your Army’ stalls for civil dignitaries and children.

The veterans were also addressed, assured full support for any social initiatives by Ex-Service Men and local administration in Vairengte, Kolasib and Lailapur (Assam). The event concluded after an informal interaction with Ex- Service Men and Veer Naris.
