Film Director Dilip Kumar Morang awarded with Karbug Takar Award 2017

On the occasion of Karbug Takar day Karbug Takar Award 2017 conferred to Film director  and prominent personality of Mising Late Dilip Morang posthumously . Award include Certificate, Gamusa, Mising attire, memento etc.

Best actor prize goes to Aswini Kr Doley, Firuj Pegu, Best Singer male Sarbeswar Kardang, Best Singer female Bhanu Doley, Rekha Doley,

Karbug Takar media award to Prag News Managing Director Sanjib Narayana Seal, Assam Lutad editor Arindom Prince Panging, Best director goes to Dr Pabitra Kumar Pegu, best choreographer to Bhaskar Doley, Agam Kutum, Best Music director Mrinal Doley, Best action direction to Sanju Baba Doley, Best comedian to Chandan Pegu and Lalit Payeng.

 On the eve of Karbug Takar foundation day most of the Mising communities actors, singers, cultural worker were perform their creativities.

Dr Kripantah Pegu’s welcome speech he expresses that The word Karbug Takar means the first shining star of the evening sky. This beautiful name was given after a young boy of 14 years, left this beautiful world for abode on 1st November, 1999.

 We initiated our work to preserve the art and culture of the tribal community in Assam in general, and of the Misings in particular. And also to uplift, recognize and give a platform, to exhibit  and expose, the many devout talents in our community.  The cultural programme was  anchored by Dermy Doley, Niroda Doley Pegu and Firuj Pegu.
