Assam: Indian Army Provides Medical Succor In Chirang

A team of 05 Army Doctors including a lady Doctor, 14 nursing staff and a TB Detection team of JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon extended their expertise for th ebenefit of the needy populace of this remote village and its adjoining areas.

The medical team of Indian Army unit at Chirang  has undertaken a noble effort of rendering medical assistance to the people staying in the remote area of Chirang District. A medical camp was conducted on 12 Oct 2019 at village Ai Poli of Chirang District in BTAD area. In its endeavour to reach out to locals, the Army doctors provided medical support in coordination with Health Department of Assam Government.

A team of 05 Army Doctors including a lady Doctor, 14 nursing staff and a TB Detection team of JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon extended their expertise for th ebenefit of the needy populace of this remote village and its adjoining areas.

A large number of people benefited from the medical camp which included facilities for consultation, check up and free medicines.   The locals of the area expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the medical camp at their doorstep. Such camps and initiatives help in strengthening ties between the people and the security forces in the region.
